    Copper plated pellets

    Hi guys,

As I’m currently stuck in the house recuperating from a leg injury, I find myself reading a lot until I can get out shooting again. I’ve been reading about copper plated/jacketed pellets and their potential for increased accuracy and velocity.

Does anyone on here use them or have tried them? What are your thoughts?

    ATB,

    JP

I would throw the tin at the target. If they were any good we would all be shooting them. We aint. Conclusions can draw themselves if that is any help.

Then again - with a ridiculous lead ban on the horizon - alternatives will have to be found. I am hoping spaghetti is going to be the way to go.

I've tried various copper plated pellets in many different airguns in both .177 and .22 calibre, and none of them have been any better than standard lead pellets.
