In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

very nice work,i'm no expert but that shade of blue looks just right as it does with the other rifle.not easy to get a beech stock to look that good either.
i wonder what concoction he uses for his bluing?very good job with the metal preparation,if anything too good.the trigger guard still has some factory rough edges.
brilliant.perhaps he needs to have a go at my 1938 model 27

I have been able to get that shade of blue by the traditional hot caustic salt method, by adding a small amount of nickel sulphate to the mix. Without the nickel you get the usual jet black colour

Good question. The seller says original bluing only very slightly restored.

Edit: trouble with restored guns, you never really know what it was like before. It was obviously very good, probably extremely good, but for instance not a single dent in the stock. Really?
