    Sharp Ace silencer

    Hi,
    Has it been done? does the fore sight come off?
    Any guidance?
    My sight does NOT have a screw in it ? (or hole )

    It does come off, but I’m not sure how.

    On the parts diagram it show it as a seperate peice held on by a screw? I think it is drifted on, but do not want to screw it up lol

    It might be held in place with Loctite.
    I bought an Ace about a year ago with a silencer; I removed it, and put an original front sight on the barrel.
    But that's because I prefer the original look, and using the opens.

    Yep.. It comes off with a bit of heat.. Some easier than others.. Col.

    I too like the classic look, but this Ace is so nice/accurate I want to try it out around the farms

    UPDATE still need help

    OK so there IS a screw holding it on, however for whatever reason a prev owner has ground it flush.
    Sp question, how deep in to barrel doe the screw go or is it just nipped up ?

    Mine has the foresight replaced by a silencer adapter and silencer. Very accurate, very quiet and...very long lol
    WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
