I am very sorry to hear that.
He had an immense amount of knowledge and was always happy to share it.
Guaranteed if you were interested in a rare match rifle he had an example.

    Rest in peace.

Going off the things he has put up on Dannys gallery, he was happy to share information with others.

    My condolences too.

What a loss, Frank was a very nice & knowledgeable guy, whom I could always call for advice. I was proud to know such an established Dutch collector, with a truly global network of contacts. Too bad we didn't have enough contact last year He guided me a few times through his vast collection of air rifles with some wonderful anecdotes, which came up in many of his conquests. Especially collecting in the pre-internet era provided some great adventures. I even got him to join facebook to enforce some of our collectors groups. We had common ground in the field of prewar air rifles (old German and English rifles) but the size & completeness of his collection is truly unrifled to what I have seen to date. He was handy enough to fabricate missing parts, a stock or accessories himself. He has also taken care of quite a few rare pieces in my collection. Kudos for some very nice restorations.

    RIP Maestro!
