Anyone know where I can find an anti-bear trap for my Walther LG 55 ? Mine is broken and the trigger won't release anymore.
Thanks for your help !

Sure you know but easy to disable as temporary fix. In absence of replacement I have solder a strip across the break too.
May I ask what type of solder you used ?In absence of replacement I have solder a strip across the break too.
Thanks !
Common plumbers lead free. A good clean and smear of plumbers "Powerflux", over here. The overlap surface area, to my mind, ensures the joint is strong enough.
Several years ago my 55 suffered with the same problem, the replacement is as rare as rocking horse droppings. My solution was to solder a section of a hairgrip onto the end to replace the bit that operates the little anti-beartrap lever inside the trigger assembly. It works and is still working in the gun which gets used regularly at bell target.
Mine also broke and I used silver solder which takes more heat to melt than ordinary solder but is much stronger.
