So sad to hear this. We are all poorer for his passing. He must have been the wittiest person I've ever encountered and could always be relied on to raise a smile in any post he made.

Not forgetting his immense airgun knowledge or love for airguns, which he put into practical effect with his beloved Rivington Rifleman. My condolences to Bob, Dave (DM80), Phil and his other friends and family.

    RIP Ian.

Very sad news. I only met Ian once ... many years ago at an HFT shoot at Rivington (I think) where he was shooting a Lincoln or BSA. The ground shook with cheers as he toppled a distant target.
I will miss his wit and posts on the BBS.
    Condolences to all his family.

Oh ! Dont know what to say ? I have known Ian for at least 25 years and always had the craic with him , He loved telling everybody the webley omega story (when he set me up in target sports ) the airgun world is a lesser sadder place without I.J. in it

    gutted to be honest
