    I.J.

I e-mailed Ian as RR secretary 6 years ago.
Ex-forces and would like to get into the sport.
Welcomed from day one and showed with others how to set up, zero and parallax.
In the years since I have cried laughing with that man whether it be at the indoor or the outdoor, shooting polos from 40 odd yards.
I went to the club today and to say subdued is an understatement, as the place will never be the same.
Andy Macs spider is still in the cupboard and I still have that roll of bubble rap you asked me to keep.
Miss you Ian, a true gent and ultimate wind up merchant.
    In tears
    John

Ive just seen this news, when I got my first rifle I took it to Rivi to set it up . One time when i was there he was struggling to get up from shooting prone.. I asked if he needed a hand up?He so no it's the dredded Arthur, I didn't find out for quite a few years later about his blood problems .
He was always witty , I could never have the last word , as Zooma will testify .
RIP Ian I hope your still collecting your wobbly Webleys up there !

What a battler of a man, strength and courage, also hoot to boot You brought much humour to your existence and ours.
I never knew you personally Ian, only via email and on forum. I would have been proud to have known you and counted as friend, and a wicked piss take.

    Travel easy now Ian.

Arohanui to you, your family and friends

Condolences to the family, a very sad loss indeed.
