    Really nice BSA Standard over here in the US

    But quite a price to pay? Blew by what I thought it would take!!

    There is something about the US climate that is kind to etching. You see some lovely etched examples over the pond. Are they all in the dry states. What a beauty. What a price. Apparently the US has got really keen on BSA underlevers. Hope they don't all end up getting exported to the massive US gun market. Hopefully they will stick to their .22's for plinking

    I think its not the climate its just that here we shoot our .22’s and not our airguns?.

    There were actually 2 BSA’s auctioned this week with nice etching. This was the other one!

    With the pound at a record low against the dollar it is a lot of money. But for the deep pocketed collector who wants a minty Bsa Standard, ones like that don't come along often. I have only ever seen a handful that nice in the UK.
