Very imaginative I like it! No idea what it would be worth, completely subjective I think, maybe get in touch with the Star Wars studio!
I saw a comment on here recently referring to Steam Punk in relation to Webley pistols. As, in the new year, I will be putting my collection up for sale I thought I might ask for an evaluation of one of my fantasy guns.
I bought a Cougar unseen based on the sellers description (on here actually) it was complete bull sh1t, it was knackered. sooo, I 'welded' the broken bits, discarded some others and 'recreated' it to produce a Steam Punk pistol, working, most of what you see are just props, this one works including the diopter sight and laser.
Just wondered what it might be worth - please no nasty comments about desecration, when I got the gun it was just scrap, I completely rebuilt it but in a different way. Side plates are beaten and polished copper as is the diopter.
Just for a laugh, what value???

Not many made like that, so rare.
Mint in box would be double the price, but as used still holds a bling premium.
Much of the price is in the tuning and how it shoots.
Resembles a Star Wars prop so doubles the price on the bay.
For a change .22 makes a tad more than .177.
Does it still have its Storm Trooper sticker as usually found on the action?
The original Dan Dare box would add value.
There are better shooting guns to be had.
Value is in Bitcom, or any failed crypto currency. Would take a lot of them; too rich for me.
I like that! Its difficult to value something that is so unique, I am sure the Steampunk crowd would go nuts for it as its quality
Thanx for your comments, quite amusing but no prices so I guess £5000.00 would be out of the question. Maybe £100.00 just for the novelty? I am sure Dan Dare might be interested but then again he predated Steam Punk so in his time it would be ten bob.
It was done originally to make a working gun from a heap of sh1t but I somehow got carried away and as I am 'into' SP this was the result.
Just to upset a few more sensible people, I bought a scrappy Webley Junior (knocked about, repainted, broken grips etc) and made another Punky one;

I forgot to add that the switches on the bottom of the grip are for the laser sight and the UV light, batteries inside the grip.

I think the more steampunk you can make them the more they might find some value. No holds back, the more punk the better.
Presently they aren't quite enough.
Possibly a bigger market if deactivated
I agree. It’s not my world, so I don’t know for sure, but if anyone wants it as part of a costume to go to a convention or something, the fact it’s an actual working firearm (in the eyes of the law anyway) would be an issue, I’d think.. Possibly a bigger market if deactivated
Mind you you could just take the spring out I guess.
Morally flawed
