BSA BUCCANEER .22 in makers box

Does the Buccaneer cock and fire ?
The reason I ask is because the Scorpion action, on which the Buccaneer is based, has a nasty habit of seizing up due to the buffer washer expanding if not fired for a length of time.
I have one at present in need of attention when I get round to it.

Afternoon it did last time I checked , will check again . Know exactly what you mean , my SCORPION did the same. Dave
