    Brum militaria show.

With reference to the above .The show had a very good turn out it seems. I have not totted up my complete sales figure yet but it is looking like i have broken my record. for some reason i sold loads and loads of pellets to collectors and others, on saying that i had the biggest section on show.John M.even bought a few to take back south, Had a quick chat to Pete. (binners) on his rounds, dont know if he bought anything though. Air pistols were my biggest sales and miscellaneous items which are usually a bit slow sold very well. My few air rifles did not do well. I could have sold some but punters wanted to deal at to low prices and it was not a car boot sale: Overall excellent show.

Glad you had a good day Roly. It was a pleasure to chat, as always.

I'm delighted with the pellets too.

For anyone that has not visited Roly's stall, he usually has some real gems and has a habit of tempting collectors with some interesting vintage pellets at realistic prices too.

This time, there were books, targets, boxed Webleys, Walthers, Hyscores, a Haenel 28 as well as some lovely Webley rifles. There were even some very attractive armourers tools in their fitted wooden boxes.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

It appears I totally missed this show, and I was only down the road in Swindon.

I was tempted to go but a few things deterred me this time.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

No wife, girlfriend thousands of miles away.
Hopefully a £144 battery will fix my car problem?

I visited the show for the first time on last Sunday. I was meeting up with a chap there and had other business in the area anyway, so didn’t go with any expectations for the show itself. Plus, I always like a look around the motorcycle museum.

There was a nice mixture of interesting stuff to see. I wouldn’t make the journey again especially but if you’re in the area anyway it’s worth a visit.

    Cheers
    Greg
