    This pistol apparently sold today for £2400 plus commission! Lots more pics posted here (thanks to the owner of 2003):

    Hi Danny,
    That will mean the final price will be well over £3,000 after commission and VAT are added. It’s obvious from the realised price that there was clear market recognition of the significance of this particular pistol and it’s extreme rareness.
    I must admit that although I find prototype guns or models where only a handful are made fascinating, I’m really only interested in collecting those forming part of a small production run of around at least a hundred or so examples and am happy to pay a premium for the privilege.
