    Mercury Target Rifle Melbourne

I realise this is a long shot but do any members that went to the Melbourne show last Sunday Know who the dealer was that had a .177 Mercury with the diopter sights on his stall and his contact number or does anybody know if he has sold it.

His stall was facing you as you walked into the larger of the rooms, on the right hand side of entrance to the small room off to the left of his stall.

    Thanking you, hopefully, in advance

I'd have bought that on the day if I did not already have one.

    That's a desirable BSA!

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

    Mercury

He only wanted £170 for it, but it was in a sorry state.
    But very rare.
Like I said people are not spending.
Try contacting the organisers at Melbourne.

I intend to do that but thanks anyway.

I had just laid out £150 for a Winchester thingy for the brother in-law or I would have had it for use at the bell target club.

Also saw it as a refurb job to be honest.

Never saw you there John, If I passed you I apologise for not speaking.

    Hi Melv,

I wasn't there sadly as it is a little too far for a round trip but this fair is certainly on my bucket list to attend one day.

I hope you can track down the Mercury - mine is a real pleasure to use.

Hello John, it’s well worth a visit, though this years attendance seemed to be less than I had seen at other fairs. All the stalls were full except of course the gentleman who is in the middle of some very serious therapy.
God luck to him and hope he’s there at the next fair.
Hope you can make one in the future.
    Regards

    Melv
