    What were the number of coils in the original Britannia?

    I assume someone has an original flat wound spring in their rifle.

    Britannia spring.

    Steve, I have a .25 Britannia which I am fairly sure is completely original as I have owned it for 52 years. THe spring measures 20.3 OD x 12.4 ID x 214mm long with 35 coils of flat section wire 2.2mm thick. Hope this helps.
