Soon to arrive in Cheshire and very interested in 10m Air Pistol

Hello everyone,

Just thought I’d pop in and say hello and thank you for a great reference source in this forum.

I’ve been shooting NSRA .22LR Benchrest since the start of the year, have been loving it and have fortunately seen my scores gradually improving.

I have also recently had an introductory lesson to 10m Air pistol and found it great fun, suitably challenging (understatement) and I think it is something I will be actively pursuing in a new club when I move to Cheshire. Along with .22LR Benchrest which I will also continue (although I recognise this may need to be in a different club).

I’ve been in contact with the following clubs and am looking forward to checking them out, subject to the various waiting lists etc.

Warrington and District Rifle and Pistol Club
Crewe Rifle and Pistol Club
Altrincham Rifle and Pistol Club

Looking forward to learning more about 10m Air Pistol and hopefully shooting alongside some of you.

I'd also have a look at BGCs Air Section https://www.boltongunclub.co.uk/Air.html you can go along and see what it's like on an informal basis and see if the set up is any good for you
