Sharp Champion, help to find it in Sweden?

    Hi,
I'm still doing research on Sharp, and came across this Sharp Champion, which was auctioned in Sweden not long ago for about 30 pounds.
It's a nice version of the old style Victory 648.

The auction house can't help me to contact the buyer, which I understand.
However I wondered if someone on this forum could perhaps help me?

I would love to ask some questions about this gun, as I have never seen a Champion before, except on an advert.

    Many thanks,
    Louis

    Hi Louis

That looks very similar to one of the Heirinkens. By the way I received the Innova sight, many thanks.

    Kind regards,

    Lawrie.

    Hello Lawrie, you are welcome.

Indeed, it looks a bit like the Heirinkan Model C, but it is a completely different gun.
However, the very early Sharp guns (earlier than this Champion) seem to have been rebranded Heirinkans.

    Sharp is still very mysterious...

Let me guess Louis' reply Don. Would you like my right arm or my left for it?

You might have some luck if you ask over at the swedish airgun forum:

Thank you Don R. for your offer to anwer questions about your beautiful Champion.

What a great example. The one in Sweden seems to be a more Spartan version, perhaps a cheaper option.

I have particularly busy days at the vet clinic, but I will send you a pm soon with some questions.
I am trying to write a booklet about Sharp, as the start of further investigations, so it is mainly about finding photos that I may use in the book, technical information about the gun, personal experiences.

    Many thanks, Louis

To be honest I have two other Sharp models on the top of my wishlist now:
    - old style Victory (not the more common one that can be found in the UK, but the version with a hammer release valve)
    - CO2-5, an early 5 shot repeater

Cheers Evert. I tried to join this forum a few weeks ago, with the goal to ask about the Champion from the auction, but I couldn't join.
Don't know why. Will try again with a VPN, perhaps it will work if I pretend to be in Sweden

I've had problems logging in to the swedish forum after I forgot my password and tried to do a password renewal.
