Hi,
I'm still doing research on Sharp, and came across this Sharp Champion, which was auctioned in Sweden not long ago for about 30 pounds.
It's a nice version of the old style Victory 648.

The auction house can't help me to contact the buyer, which I understand.
However I wondered if someone on this forum could perhaps help me?
I would love to ask some questions about this gun, as I have never seen a Champion before, except on an advert.
Many thanks,
Louis
Hello Lawrie, you are welcome.
Indeed, it looks a bit like the Heirinkan Model C, but it is a completely different gun.
However, the very early Sharp guns (earlier than this Champion) seem to have been rebranded Heirinkans.
Sharp is still very mysterious...
Louis, I have a Champion - what questions can I answer?

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
You might have some luck if you ask over at the swedish airgun forum:

Too many airguns!
Thank you Don R. for your offer to anwer questions about your beautiful Champion.
What a great example. The one in Sweden seems to be a more Spartan version, perhaps a cheaper option.
I have particularly busy days at the vet clinic, but I will send you a pm soon with some questions.
I am trying to write a booklet about Sharp, as the start of further investigations, so it is mainly about finding photos that I may use in the book, technical information about the gun, personal experiences.
Many thanks, Louis
