The 600 was out and about..!

After what seems like ages my little 600 it must of forgotten about him !!

Took my Crossman 600 out to the club yesterday and I'm hooked on that little gun (again... )
i raced through 6 CO2s cartridges and pretty much half a tin of pellets in not more that about 30 Mins.

I'm sure only other 600 Owners or those that have shot them know exactly what i mean here but what a blast they are.!

Any other Crossman 600 owners in tonight.

You know couple of weeks back now on YouTube I saw a new variety of SemiAuto Pistol running at the UK legal pistol limit power (and significantly more for our cousins across the pond) and as a PCP system... tasty eh however £££££££ tho.....

I have a couple and they certainly are fun to shoot, plus very accurate.
Unfortunately I don't get much chance to use mine nowadays.

You have to own one or two to be a real collector. My nickel plated one has been modded and shoots at optimum performance. I still like the black finish ones of course. Got the bulk filling cap to use with fire extinguisher.

I was lucky enough to have mine re-finished by a local chap sadly since passed of the big C (RIP).
He was AirSoft mad and modded EVERYTHING !!

Fully blasted back to bare and re coated with a matt black similar to Ceracote but 3 times as tough he told me after its been allowed to fully cure, and true enough its worn a little but still 100% intact without a chip.
Apparently the US used it on their Helicopters somehow ..

    Looks damn good though
Got mine via the only Man on here that counts for Collectable Air (Anything) Lawrie Aramaturda..

What a top chap he is with Absoloute knowledge and a real gent to boot.

Check out the below i need one but I'm not paying that...

Every pistol shooter should own at least one Cr600 in their life

This one was bead blasted back to the base zamak with no further finish added. The 677 I fitted a longer BSA .177 rifled barrel.

Totally agree with your comments about Lawrie, and as you say he is very knowledgeable when it comes to CO2 and air powered guns. A very helpful man; he's worked on several of my guns.
I too would like one of the pistols shown in the video, but would prefer them to be CO2 powered for convenience, but unfortunately they are totally illegal in the UK.

    Thanks for the link, Nick.
Interesting to see they will ship sub 12 ft lb. guns to the UK, but no mention of the sub 6 ft.lb. limit for the pistols, which makes them pretty pointless, particularly at the prices quoted.

Oops, I just read the bit where they state that their UK PCPs are under 12fpe. You are correct in that sub 6fpe is not mentioned.
Although if you go through the order form for a .177 GK1 there is a tick box for UK < 6fpe.

    I wonder what the shot count will be at that power level as Hugen claim 80 shots at 40fpe. 80 × (40 ÷ 6) = 533 !
