I am retired and have not used an airgun seriously since my 20's. and I want to get back into a hobby that i did quite enjoy.
It was a break barrel .177 back in the day, things have changed quite a lot in the meantime. PCP and gas rams are all new to me.

I have acquired a hatsan galation it is very nice and super accurate but it is heavy and frankly I could do without the magazine, There is something about putting the pellet into the chamber, its a contemplative thing I think

Yes, it's a totally different ball game, so take your time, read some of the forum, and remember a lot of it will be "opinions", so don't take everything as gospel.

Get yourself to a club if you can, most are friendly and all-inclusive, although I'm sure there are the odd ones a bit "cliquey" , but 9/10 of them will have great members who will give you some advice and let you try what they have.
