I've been out ratting with one of these this afternoon - but as it's Baileys season I cut it short and came home...

Very nice Rattus set up the scope compliments it perfectly. These Hakko/Beeman/Optima short scopes make even the Simmons wtc 1.5-5x20 look oversized.

Absolutely. I shoot this on anything from one to four mag and it's a joy to use. Tremendous glass.
One day I'll fix the stock up but I've got more on the 'to do' rack than I want to look at right now.

I had a Hakko made Beeman branded SS1 2.5x16 and an SS2 3x21, the instructions that came with them said they used the same glass as Nikon and Canon camera lenses. Robert Beeman was renowned for his marketing claims but I do think this could be true because for their size they are extremely clear.

Lovely my MPT usallly wears a little whitetail but has an old photon on at the moment for the rats in the allotment. I've four whitetails now bought from as little as £20 to £60 which is what it think they are worth max unless boxed as new.
