The gallery crank "rifle" shown above is American, made by George Fisher of New York. Occasionally, one encounters this very secure breech lock-up design in a few higher quality, early swivel breech gallery airguns (long guns). It is certainly a much more substantial design than the typically seen swivel breech specimens. Also, as an interesting side note, the Langenhan pistol specimens you have just revealed all have barrels that swivel (twist) counter-clockwise to load as seen from the shooter. Whereas, all American swivel breech specimens than I can recall all twist clockwise to load.
