    Venom HW80k

I've just picked up an HW80k in .22 which was Venom tuned. Serial number marks it as approx 1989 and its been well used. Looking at it, it appears to have had quite a lot done, reduced cylinder, re blued, new front stock screws, trigger blade. Sadly though its been very well used, there has been a bit of rust in the past and the gun has fired with the barrel cocked as its bent upwards and the stock is cracked at the pistol grip.

I was wondering is there anyone that might be able to straighten the barrel? I'm thinking it would be nice to get it re-blued and tidied up a bit.

Hi Garrick, none of your links appear to work buddy. As for restoring it then I know Nick Simmons has bought a few Venoms back to their former glory.
    Regards,
    Dave.

    Venom 80

Saw this on guntrader. A nice period venom with original parts. Bent barrel isn't to hard to sort and if you require a period stock replacement then just send me a pm. Mach 1.5

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the advice, I've seen Nick's work on a few of the groups on FB. I'll get in touch and see if he can help.

    Thanks

Usually that's true, unless the breech block and cylinder/forks are damaged by the barrel slamming shut.
    Too many airguns!
