    Valuation airsporter S

Morning all can someone give me an approximate valuation on this please serial no GP 01161 which I understand to be circa 1885-6.
The stock is unmarked as is the cocking lever which are normally scuffed and scratched, the blueing is 9.5/10.
    Any ideas please?
    Cheers,
    Pete.

Photos would be an advantage for the members to give you a better value.

.177 or .22? I think there are fewer .177s by a good margin, could be worth more.

There was an earlier S, early 1980s; the "blond" ones. This example I suspect 1986 onwards. I think the more hansom for it. BSA did a few walnut rifles for a time in the late 1980s and I think the ones to find, collect and keep. I sold a Mercury S, or deluxe as it just had trigger grip checkering, in similar wood quality. I wish I had kept it.

I'll be interested when it hits sales section, just to see how long it stays about. Nice, honest example.
