    Arken Optics FFP EPL4 4-16 x44

    Hi All

Anyone have a comment on the Arken range of scopes.
    I'm specifically interested in the EPL4 4-16 x44

I don't want to go to the 6-24 x50 in the range as i figure looking through the additional lenses and glass is only likely to decrease image quality ..??
Comes with Jap glass and there the reviews look good.

For me looking for a decent all rounder Plinking hunting and a bit of HFT.

Have reviewed most all others where the element scopes came in next (but i think it was these ones i saw a really bad review for on you tube) where for shorter ranges they needed to be on an MOA rail to lift the back of the scope..??

Any input from Arken Owners welcome

    Ok Well i got one..

Wow what a lovely bit of kit. Really nice and clear.
I minor grumble which i already knew was that only the center cross of the ret illuminated.

Personally id of preferred it if the whole ret lit up.
But you buy a scope for the glass and this was as good as i really wanted to pay and i never wanted to look through the additional glass needed for the extended magnification model.

It may be made in China but the glass is Japanese so i guess it shows !

Might be just about to push the button on one of these (6-24) but also have the option for Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact. 6-24x50 for £210. Wondering if the Arken is worth the extra ?
