    Matchlock musket support stick.

    Can anyone tell me where I can obtain a support stick/rest for a reproduction matcklock musket please?

    Make one? Im assuming a fork on top of a pole, Few days ago i found & gave away a heavy iron boat rowlock, wont be hard to find another & modify, any half decent blacksmith could bash one out pretty quick.

    How wide & deep is the forend on the musket?, For sourcing a single old rowlock I would ask your nearest sea scout or sea cadet group, they are more likely to have an older type with the equal height arms laying about.
