I think I've also got a red dot sight that came with the HW70 too......I really ought to have rummage round and see what I've got in stock
    Crikey Paul,

You need to get it down from hibernation for a cheeky session

I think I will keep my eyes peeled at Melbourne...
Too many guns, or not enough time?

    Exclamation Hw70

Many forget that clubs used to have them as a club gun years ago, I would be looking @ Melbourne too.

I might need to reign in my HW70 aspirations for now; I will hopefully be picking up a boxed Crosman 600 with all the original paperwork...

I talked my friend into buying a nice boxed one at Kempton and later had a shot or two with it myself. I then bought a nice boxed pistol in Holt's auction for myself. I did notice a missing screw however and bought a rough one as well for spares. I've just finished restoring the rough one and its turned out OK. I had to go to JG Airguns to get a rear sight blade however and strangely I found a sight base in Holt's gunsmiths workshop! The previous owner had used something like Araldite rapid for lubrication but it all came good in the end and seems to shoot nicely with a surprisingly good trigger.

    Steve.

Nice one Steve, glad there’s more that like the 70

I also think the trigger is surprisingly good

Not been after one as such, but have thought about getting one at some point. It looks like that point has now arrived!
