Heirloom airguns

How many of you guys have a special enough airgun to you that you intend to keep and try to pass it on.

If so, what is the gun and what makes it so special that you would like it to stay in the family for genarations

A couple of my Guns are a case of they'll be passed onto those that need them when my times done with them as they were given to me to get me started so its only fair.
Only one so far thats a definate Heirloom is the Red Ryder, I've customised its appearance and soon will customise its guts so likely she'll be kept in the family for any new shooters to start with.

I have the Mk1 Meteor that was given to me aged 12
Had it for 50 years
Taught my son and daughter to shoot with it
She's a keeper

But most especially my Venom 77 Vantage. Plus the Kestock Predator if not re-homed to a specific young man.

Maybe my hw77k I bought in the mid 80s,
Air arms jackal,
Stingray express
Hw 97 centenary
And a lovely mk1 hw80.

Would like the kids to have these but the youngest is 31 and they have no interest in shooting,

Unless the law changes before I pop my cloggs....I can't pass on my Aircartridge collection which includes a few prototypes.....
Still looking for a Harper pipe and pen to add tho!!

I’ve told our son to keep the pro/elite’s and the V-Mach custom 80 in the family for future generations to enjoy.
The rest he will probably get lumbered in trying to sell them.Like Carlos as mentioned,my son has no interest in airgun’s.

Sadly, although they have had some fun plinking & target shooting, none of the grandchildren have any real interest in airguns.

I have the BSA Light Pattern bought new by my Grandfather and given to me by my Father...He learnt to shoot with it, he taught me to shoot with it and in turn both he and I taught my children to shoot with it.

Although my TX is not my favorite, I think that it has the best chance to be kept in the family because of sentimental reasons and some people just like them so I am spending money on bling to make even more attractive I suppose it also depends what the laws might be in the future
