Doesn't the 45 have a Beeman clone? I remember looking at one a while back as I loved the appearance but could not love the price tag.

Fair enough, I do get a bit muddled with the numbers but I'm slowly understanding them

Not so much a clone, but the same thing, I think. A bit like the US get the Beeman R1 and we get the HW80, the States get the P1 and we get the HW45.

Intresting, seems it'd be a similar weight to my Reckord but probably a more effective pistol (although not hard currently as I've still not sorted it)

The hw40 clone is the Beeman p17

A question for the pistoleros; what's the Gamo PR-45 the closest to in the Weihrauch pistol group?

I had one of them in the 90s. Plastic with steel side rails and single stroke operation. Very consistent (And I could actually shoot back then) Probably HW75.

I'd say hw40, with the the gamo compact being the HW75 competitor...

the pr45 however has a far inferior trigger, but the compact is good.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
