I'm starting a new job next week which, after the training course will be 4 on 4 off shift pattern, so I should have more time. I'm still in two minds whether to move it on though along with the Airsporter S that I brought to the bash. I'm having that lovely 34 from Melv and I really can't keep em all.
Good luck with the new job, Paul. That sounds like a much more amenable situation.

Great that you got a session in with those lovely pistols.

Can't argue with the plan to let them go to make space for that 34; it's a truly lovely thing.

Was not the original plan but is the plan now, maybe keep spare parts on hand too to keep them going.

    Great morning at the club
A few chalk men and a mint fell to the HW 80
Nick, everyone that tried it was very impressed with your work
Really pleased to have some success with the Longbow out to 65 yards with the Burris Fullfield scope with a duplex reticle
On 9x mag the point of the thick line is spot on at 45 yards
Just need to play around with the mag to work out zeros at different ranges
The light scope really suits the Longbow
If I can find a fixed 6mag with some aimpoints I think it would be perfect

Next Month I should be able to book my induction up there, swear I read it as 25 each but should be 30 all in to start with a Helper along, will obviously confirm my condition before doing anything mind as that'll probably have basis on the Stage 3 bit.
Do they sell Pellets on site or should I stock up beforehand if I'm planning a day of it?

Will do, I'll keep Cattys out of it unless theres a section for them, being around my Birthday I just need to clarify I'm not expected elsewhere or being dragged somewhere but should be able to arrange all nessacery means to go, just want to be sure if I bring cake I wont kill anyone so need allergen warning even if not planning to eat it just incase of crosscontamination.

So, you're saying a Duplex reticle is actually fine...

Thanks Tony. Should be much better for family time. My only worry now is that the shift pattern clashes with the bashes...

I should reply with depending on your level of talent, but that would sound big headed so I won't
I will say that after 2 months of trying I made some progress

A mate agreed to buy my EVX today so I have ordered a CP for the 80
Next purchase will be a Leupold 3 x 9 rim fire for the Longbow.

Haha, I know my talent level mate and really I need all the help I can get, so should bin the old Duplex scopes I have, but I'm a sucker for a glossy finish.

Interesting though, my choice for my Longbow is also the Leup Freedom 3-9x40 with the rimfire ret. It looks decent (and classy) for the money.

Duplex at range can be done especially if you know at what mag the thick post becomes an aim point
I shoot most Saturdays and it's taken 2 months for the first success
However doing the bucket with no mildots without zeroing onto the bucket would be an achievement for me
