It seems I can't leave a Bash without a new BSA for the collection.

Hi all, Well yet another bash has come and gone and yet another BSA has come home with me, so that's two Lightnings, an Airsporter and a Goldstar, that bloody Baldinio keeps selling me dodgy Lightnings (I'm only joking by the way), the XL I returned home with is a little asthmatic but that's all the fun of finding bargain rifles and tinkering with them, I don't think I've ever had a BSA that hasn't needed some TLC, so a bit of tinkering is required on this beauty.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I do mean to get a Lightning someday as it's named for my favourite jet but I'm happy enough with my Supersport

It is a lovely rifle, Pete. In very fine condition and shot beautifully. What's it doing power wise? What pellets have you power tested with?...I know you know your BSAs so well, but that Supersport of mine makes about 1.5ft.lbs more with RWS Hobby and Jumbo RS than it does with Superdomes......

With FTTs it was doing 7.5ftp and just over 8 with AA fields.

Mmmmmm.........do test with as many pellets as you can first, Pete, but it's looking like fettle time......unless you don't need it for long range duties, as it does shoot very nicely......

I saw that rifle at the bash and thought what a nice example it was. Hope you get it to your satisfaction.

If I'm honest Tone, although it shot nice,it was struggling to hit some of the 30 yard targets and the nearer spinners where hardly moving.

    Pete!! Dear, dear old Pete
    We were at the Bash
Are you really sure you want to blame the rifle for struggling on 30 yard targets?

Well the wind didn't help either and when that ruddy great Chinook went over, the rotor down wash just blew all the pellets all over the place, then there was that slight land slide that moved all the targets, it wasn't a good day
