    Advice please

    Hi all.
Looking for a new nv ratter gun. Not to expensive as it will possibly get bashed about on the farm, so brobably a "black" gun. I like stumpy guns, multi shot and probably an infernal pcp with mod/shroud. Don't need mahosive shot count as rarely go above 40 shots. And while not a "throwaway" gun it won't need to be a family heirloom.
    It will be a .177
Was thinking of a new RM8 UC or possibly an Ultra/Scorpion TS.
Any other suggestions around the 4-500 kinda area.
Are the gamo pcps any good.
    TIA
    Mark

If it's a ratter .22 or .25 would be better
There was an FX verminator mk1 in sales, perfect ratter.
Scorpions aren't very stumpy especially with a mod, but are nice rifles, my "ratter" is a .25 SE with ATN mars thermal
    ultras are quite compact

Why not an old battered cheap BSA Ultra .22 & spend the rest on N/V ?

Got a np02 here , Not sure how reliable they are or how others find them but my one is very accurate. Bought cheap second hand off a forum member on here , It's extremely accurate and I quite like how it fits me, Even though I'm right handed I find the left hand cocking very handy. It's a lovely gun.

If I was looking yours would be my first choice. Great guns. Was half tempted when I seen your ad, Unfortunately at moment I'm not using the guns I've got at mo, Hopefully things will change as I do miss shooting. It's a great gun for tte price.

Hello, Thanks, it is a good set up for ratting, The 8 shot magazine works well with me and can even change in the dark, very good shot count, i use to get out 3/4 nights a week but now not so much and have another 22 PCP , i will be sorry to let go but it would be nice to find it a good home
