    Frustrating morning
Still issues with the scope rotating on the Sirocco
I have theraband wrapped round the scope and tightened the mounts as tight as I dare and still issues. If I can't think of a cure it's going
I put my Fullfield the Longbow
Nice low mounts and it suits it well. I need to pack the rear mount.Got to now find something with similar dimensions and weight with mildots and side focus

I'm happy to take in any abandoned Airguns free of charge

Been getting annoyed by cheapo sanding bits but Rambunny is carved and mounted on a hinge and wood scrap, might finish painting tonight for a 5 minute plink tomorrow, was supposed to make the resetting parts for the set but hands are done with the dremel today and its in need of parts (strongish magnets) to finish anyway so no issue or rush.

I bet I will, I've only got one low power rifle, an Original model 50, currently in bits. I was going to up the power with a better spring & modern piston seal, I'm tempted to leave it alone for now , but it does need sights.

I was intending to get a set of diopter sights, but the price of them is mental

What calibre is it & do you have problems with some pellets ?

Took my new to me Sirocco .25 to the range today, shot beautifully with cheapo marksman pellets, then I went to try some Barracudas, and they were too large to fit in the breech !

I'm wondering if its an imperial version of 6.35 like old BSAs etc ?

    It's a. 177 Waddy
It shoots really well and is very accurate
But being a Theoben it has the fixed single strap scope rings which are allowing the scope to rotate on recoil.
I had the rings lined theraband which failed.
I have now put some gaffer tape in there to see if that helps
If not I will chop it in for another Evolution.
My .20 Evolution is a very nice gun to shoot

I've just got a low end Nikko Stirling on mine & it seems OK, maybe some scope tubes are one inch & some 25 mm ?

Kinda surprising no one has made double strap aftermarket scope mounts for the Theoben rifles tbh.

Not sure how good these are (never tried them) but another option to use different mounts (Picatinny)

I still need to modify a set for the Falcon, uses an odd vintage type thats got a deeper curve than your average 11mm set, got given several to work with should hopefully get it right.
