And avoid Nottinghamshire's roads like the plague what's the profile on it's tyres?
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.

Old Man used to have a C-max with one of those, looked nice but made things a pain if you had a full car with dog and needed to carry luggage, was a shame to see it go though as it was the 180bhp model so was stealthly nippy for it's size.

I am hoping that, I'm not a member of LVAGC yet otherwise I'd be asking there too.

Can't remember off the top of my head, I know when I did the wheel tyre combo we matched things to the CSL as from a handleing standpoint it's pretty much the best set up for the E46.
One of Herts roads did claim one of the Alloys that I may eventually turn into furniture, annoyingly was after they were custom coloured so the replacement doesn't currently match as I didn't get to it before the injury.

Got to Sheffield Station at 6.00pm.

The train at 6.40pm for home is cancelled. So an extra hour to kill. Had a walk into the city. Walked past about ten pubs. Probably a good thing that I have no cash or cards on me or else I'd be getting hammered!

Should of gone and visited the Megatron, it's a huge underground culvert underneath Sheffield train station. I'm hoping to get down there later this year when the rivers are a bit calmer to explore it .

I seem to remember being a passenger in one once or twice as a sprog, but never drove one. Like anything old & classic, I bet they're worth a bleeding fortune now.

My home town's the town of no car dealers now, but back before I was a teen there were lots of garages in town, including the agent for Chrysler / Simca etc. The old Austin Rover garage where I started in the motor trade had closed by the late 80s, I think. Became a supermarket. Now a Wetherspoons.

Never even heard of that; must look into it.

If I'd had some spendies on me I'd have tried a swiftly or two in that Sheffield Tap that's sorta built into the edge of the station / backs onto platform one. Apparently very well rated. And when I went walkabouts, as said, there were a few tempting looking ones.
