Being built by Mike Childs, the man who built the Skans I would expect nothing less...I have handled 1 1/2 of these...one complete, one not so...just wish I'd have bought it when I had the chance
Your a very lucky man
Just received the one I bought a few days ago. I am very impressed with the quality of this gun that was made in 1986. Only 25 made and mine is number 12. Very high quality engineered gun.

Thanks buddy. They are an amazing bit of airgun history.
Along with a Bsa Military Pattern, a Genesis and a Silver Streak, the Imperial Express, is one of my holy grail rifles How does it shoot ?

"helplessly they stare at his tracks......."
I remember seeing one in a Gun Shop in Cornwall, it was one of the Airgun mags centrefold posters I had on my wall in the '80s.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
About 20 years or so ago I conducted an evaluation and field test on an Imperial Double Express for Terry Doe for inclusion in an addition of Airgun World Magazine (forget the actual edition it appeared in), but remember that as an engineer, an air gunner and an FAC rifle competition shooter (mini rifle) how impressed I was with the Imperial Express in all categories.
