Meteors: when did they change from enamelling to blueing?

Have a Meteor cylinder in my spares box. Trying to work out how old it is. It is blued with the typical BSA shallow scope rails. When did Meteors change from black paint finish to blueing?
    Thank You.

With the Mk6 which is made of many Gamo parts but the cylinder is at least properly made and not the folded sheet metal construction. The barrel & sights are BSA the trigger, cylinder and piston are Gamo.
I can't be sure about the stock.
Remember the Mk1 was blued but you won't have one of them with the shallow scope rails.
