    BSA Meteor Trigger Guard Screw

I thought this will be the best place to ask, Does anyone know the thread size for the rear trigger guard screw on a bsa meteor, I don't really want spend £5 on a screw for a rough meteor for plinking, or does anyone have one spare a bit cheaper.

They are 2Ba--------I cannot remember if they are 1 1/4 long or 1 1/2 . I have used 2Ba cheesehead screws on a few, but you should be able to find round heads. The front stock screws are also 2ba as is the elevation wheel screw on the rearsight

I'll delete this tomorrow and add it to the Meteor bit in the Idiots Guide.

I've just measured one and frustratingly it came out as 1 3/8 or 35mm in new money including the round head.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.
