Isn’t against forum rules to buy off the back of a valuation thread?

Dunk. Just to confirm I didn’t sell it from this link. I already had a friend interested and I just wanted to make sure it was genuine as I would of hated to let them down. I just wanted to make sure my late fathers treasure found a good new home

I love this forum and would not want to fall fowl of its rule

My mistake Michael, you didn’t mention you had an interested party so your post made it sound like a forum member had possibly PM’d you an offer after hearing Johns evaluation. Glad to hear that wasn’t the case.

I wasn’t in the market myself but I’m guessing a few collectors would have been very disappointed if that had happened, I believe that case is very rare. Thanks for clarifying.
