Looking for a gun slip for BSA Light Pattern

    Hi,
I'm looking for one or two gun slips for my BSA Light Patterns.
    Not too long; about 43".
Ideally leather, with wool on the inside.
    Dream on...
    But ya never know!
    Many thanks, Louis

How much do you want them?

I've always fancied one of these for a shotgun::

No connection with the company of course.

Indeed, shotgun slips are suitable. Though not fleece lined, Brady slips look the part and vintage ones often come up on that internet auction site.

Gun auctions e.g Southams, Holts etc are usually a good source of rifle bags of all sorts at quite cheap prices. But it pays to look before you bid.

I bought a light pattern two years ago, and it came in a very old green baize fabric made plain slip, and it looks great.
It must have been made for it pre war and looks very authentic and wouldn't take much to reproduce.

It just slides into it, and was obviously made for someone to carry to a bell target match or similar in public I would guess, and still comply as being covered up.

I can supply pictures if anyone want to reproduce it.
