    On the table at Kempton

Been asked to offer a few items at KP, this is one. The booklet is repro, but the rest genuine and shoots well. Old, but honest (the rifle, not me)

I handled this lovely boxed rifle yesterday and it's a beauty. Not often found with an original box.
Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

Must be something to do with my I pad and I phone, can see them on my PC.

That would be a lovely asset to any vintage collection, out of my range unfortunately.

There was an identical original cardboard Webley rifle box in the last Southams auction last week, I just looked at the sale results & it went for a measly £20
    Someone got a bargain!

    Unhappy Box

You don't get quality made boxes like that with new guns nowadays!

Strange that, because I left a bid of £80 and did not get it. I was told it went for &120

You are correct, I just checked the results again & it was £120, My old eyes got the rows mixed up. Still a good price for an original box if you really wanted one.

I would have gone higher, but allowing for commission, and buying blind, that was my limit.

I don’t ‘do’ boxes but what a thing. Hopefully I get to Kempton early enough to see it but if not I’m sure there will be plenty to drool over
