    A French 'Millita'

For Sale: An Edwardian era .25 'Millita' smoothbore airgun.

These solid little airguns were made in Germany by Langenhan and sold under various names, depending on the distributor, the most common of which is Millita. This one was intended for the French market and a French Distributor/Retailer's mark can be found stamped into the stock.

This example has been restored in the past, judging by the silver paint type finish, which replicates nickel quite well at a glance. It is complete and working, albeit the mainspring is a little graunchy. Still, the breech lock up is tight and it works great with .25 darts on an old dartboard, as power is not excessive. It also shoots 19gr Milbro Rhinos consistently at around 287 FPS. £95 and can post for an additional £12. Now sold.

About the only French I can remember from school was our teacher telling us the derogatory term for a French policeman was Le Flic!

All parcelled up ready for sending tomorrow Mzee.

    Kind regards,

    John
