    Relum Tornado valuation

I’m currently cataloguing items to put in a sales thread. Most things I can take a stab at the price, but what about this piece of soviet nastiness?

It had surface rust which mostly came off with oil and wire wool, leaving blueing behind rather than bare metal. It is missing one stock screw and is shooting at 7.5 ft-lb

Struggled to sell mine a couple of years back. It was in very good condition and in the end went for £73 of which £13 was for posting. Biggest problem with a Relum Tornado is finding someone who actually wants one

    Aint that the truth!?

It’s in the for sale section now, in the bereavement sale thread. It all needs to go, but starting prices are roughly right

It’s still here Ken and much loved.

Personally, I think the Relums are great. Easy to work on, robust and more accurate than many give them credit for. Prices vary massively with some good guns selling for as little as £40 but dealer prices up at £175 on some occasions.

I.J. would have LOVED this thread!

I sold a Telly at the last bash and I was half hoping it wouldn’t sell then it went about 20 minutes before I left. I’m giving it some really hard thought about buying it. I’m not sure if I will make the next bash though.
