Hi chaps,
I've just been given a G79 to change the spring is anyone on here that could give me some advice on this model also what was the main difference between the 79 and the 80.

As far as I remember the main difference is the stock, the G80 had a ‘Monte Carlo’ cheek piece and a thick recoil pad. There may have been some difference in the open sights. Power plant barret and trigger all the same I think.
A but like the BSA Meteor and the Meteor Super.
Guy (gggrr) has done a strip down guide somewhere on here.
