    milbro diana 27s

a recently sold one of these reminds me of a trivial question i wanted to ask.i would describe mine as a mid to late 50s model with a very ordinary trigger compared to the early 50s one recently sold.pretty sure mine is a 5.5 rather than 5.6,old eley wasps are a real squeeze and the rifle has a job pushing them out.some of the parts are either pre war diana or made on the machinery that came from germany.did milbro stick to the 5.5 because of the machinery then at some later date revert to 5.6 or did they just stick to 5.5 ?

    I'm pretty sure Milbro's .22 barrels were 5.5mm.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

cheers for that info, this one is for sure.i assumed that milbro were only 5.5 because of the diana machinery and parts and that they then may have gone british .22 again.
