No one offered me any guidance, but I did buy the Silver Streak, that I'd seen.
It's a 1987 C series, in rather superb condition, fitted with the correct Williams aperture sight.

I did buy the one I was looking at.
Just under your lower estimate and a complete minter so I think I had a good buy.

That's a dam good price, mines a minter & boxed & if I was crazy enough to want to sell it i wouldn't be selling it for that price...

Yes I believe that I did very well.
I also bought a very nice .177 Sharp Ace, from the same seller, again at what I thought was very fair money.
Very happy with both
