Better than the sort of pink fluffy idiots we have, that would see them run wild with no controls because they're "furry ikkle aminals"
The irony in wanting any vermin killed is that the vast majority of vegans are vegan because they are militantly opposed to harming animals in any way whatsoever.
This ain't rock 'n' roll- this is GENOCIDE!

They are both vegans because: “Ah, look at the poor little animals. We couldn’t eat them.”

He isn’t militant about it, he doesn’t mind what other people do and happily cooks meat on his barbecue for guests. He is also an avid angler, a bloodsport to many.

Oh, and he now has a shiny .17hmr of his very own

They’re called Ragondin here, and we’re overrun with them. They are classed as an invasive species and you can shoot them all year around

You could have at least cooked it first
One reason humans became so successful is that they had fire, and cooking gets more out of meat and veg. Why domestic dogs like both raw and cooked.

I figured there had to be a strong connection. Was in captown last summer, drove all around the eastern cape, awesome part of the country. Half my family are in Zambia, so I try and spend time there when I can... and planning to be there for the majority of the time once I retire.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

My dad lived in Nairobi in the 90’s and I spent a lot of time out there, I even found a job and had plans of spending my life there.

Sadly you are right, it is a rapidly changing place

Zambia at least is still mostly peaceful, but still plenty to improve...

    Wow , that's amazing !

My dad and his brother were both in the army during the Mau Mau uprising, dad's elder brother was killed .

Thus, when UK handed Kenya to the Mau Mau leader, we left , ended in South Africa .

But when SA first changed government, I was pretty positive it would work.

However, when Madiba handed over the reins..... the rot set in quickly.

Time to move on again, at 50 years old !!

Back in the late 50's early 60's my Uncle was some sort of district commissioner / game warden around Nairobi.

Unfortunately he & my father never got on, so I knew little or nothing until after both had passed away.
