    R W Ruggles Airgun Pellets

Cleaning out the cupboard and came across a black plastic container.
    0.20 12 grain Dynamic SPC5's airgun pellets.

    R W Ruggles. www.airgunpellets.com (H&N website comes up).

Put them through the Daystate MK4. Very accurate despite their long slug like shape.

I remember buying these through BBS. Does R W Ruggles still sell these pellets ???.

    I have some somewhere.

    I remember them being great.

Very similar to heavy exacts in .177.

Bob's 9.5 grain .177 lead exterminators were a great hunting pellet too..
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I’ve still got a few boxes of the exterminators in 177 and they are a great pellet, especially in my bsa Hornet and hw98 👍.

The 9.5 grain Exterminators were an outstanding pellet. The very first UK HFT championship was won by Tony de Cross? using them in a BSA SuperTen. The FAC HFT championsip was also won by a SuperTen prepared by Bowkett but I dont know what pellet was used. It was in .22".

If Bob's still around you might be able to contact him via Lea Valley club, he's a great guy who will do anything to promote air rifle shooting.

Sadly Bob died last year - he was a great character (as was his van with knackered suspension due to all the weight of pellets and other stuff he used to lug about in it). RIP Bob.

I'll echo this - he used to sell the Pax Phoenix rifles and had something to do with the company, but I am not exactly sure what. He was also involved with the company that manufactured Defiant pellets, but again I am not exactly sure of his relationship to it.

RIP Bob. I echo the comments above. Many used to throw abuse and try to ridicule him but he sailed above it all and was dedicated to our sport. He will be sadly missed. I was told that Hugh made him, I think the term is "executive director", so that he could attend various meetings connected with our sport.
