Webley Hurricane question

I've recently bought a Hurricane off here. It seems to be a nice little plinker It has a Premier Mk2 barrel catch on it like this https://www.airgunspares.com/1440jun...rmk2catch.html
rather than the Tempest/ Hurricane one . Did Webley ever fit this to earlier Hurricanes?

The gun I bought has no fore end on it--------and while i did briefly contemplate tarting the gun up a bit, it plinks well so other than one touch of paint, I cannot see me doing it. If anyone has a cheap/free! fore end off either a Tempest or a Hurricane that is worn or has no writing, please give me a shout. It will probably be more in the character of the gun.


UPDATE---I've been told that the Premier Mk2 catch was never fitted on the Hurricane/ Tempest at the factory.

Not seen one on a non re- built one, but I have fitted to a couple of rebuilds

I have a Hurricane with the mk2 premier catch p, just didn’t have a picture of it…..



And I know this is mainly a Tempest……��
