    Junior refurb

I now have the battered Webley Junior I was looking for to practice on. A potentially nice Birmingham 4 model which I needed anyway to fill the gap in my other 4.
Already stripped down which was massively easier than I thought and a new spring and piston washer ordered from the Countrystore. A reasonable amount of stripping and degreasing to do before putting back together.
I know that the leather washer needs soaking for 12 - 24 hours, however I do not have any neatsfoot oil. I seem to remember reading somewhere, on this forum, that Hemp oil was as good or better and what is not used can then go into the kitchen - is that still correct and current thinking.
Bisley gun grease then for the spring and outside of the piston behind the new washer and we should be good to go. The breech seal seems good but if not I have a spare rubber one.
Anything I am missing or wrong on please shout out.

Finally found the answer to my own question about using Hemp Oil - it was actually on this forum in a thread from 'junglie'
