My perms have areas where sub12 is needed and others where rimfire is needed

I just take whichever rifle, suits the part of the perm I plan to shoot.

My shooting is 99% rabbits, so rarely any flying, or up trees.

A 12g shotgun with a variety of cartridges is probably the most versatile, it's not the farmers workhorse for nothing.

    Not the most enjoyable though.

If you think of hunting as I do, that most of the fun is in the stalking, then hunting squirrels in dense woodland is the perfect task for the air rifle. If that's not difficult enough you can try hunting magpies in hedgerows, provided you have good reason of course.

Air Rifle in .177 all the time.
You are generally good to 45-50 yards with normal airgun quarry.
Fox or deer are totally different prey.

Common problem. A very hard choice but FaC air might be the best only one gun option.
Rabbit Stew, no artificial additives except lead.
