dug this up as ive been searching......apparently the early ones were manufactured in china [bad idea fairy clearly in attendance]......now JSB make em the quality is very good......apparently....

An Austrailian gentlemen has conducted quite a bit of testing w/ these pellets since the new JSB versions have been reintroduced. I thought his testing was rather interesting. Sorry, it looks like all his pics have expired, but still rather interesting reading (even the second time!)

will be interesting to see what the results are..
looks like the theory is theresharp point to penetrate and a hollow point to expand inside the target... but how do the tips become disloged from the pellet to allow it to expand?? or does the tip force the pellet to expand or am barking up the wrong tree lol
