    Yeah, theoben did change their breach blocks. very early ones were different - narrower as you said - maybe that was when they were using wobley barrels ?

    Pete, I thought fitting a German barrel to you BSA would be against all that you held sacred! Don't do it!!

    I'm not going to, I was just seeing if it was worth it.
    Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

    I shot a 35 once
    With my TX200 from about 35 yards
    Got a good group on the butt
